In order to ensure an effective site team, we encourage you to engage individuals from various departments on your campus or community partners with a diverse set of skills. Please consider assigning individuals to each focus area based on their capacity to support required tasks. (these team roles are not required and are meant to help guide you through the process)

Site Leads must agree to the following:

Serving as the primary contact for your community
Setting event-day agenda using best-practices — as provided by national and state coordinators
Recruiting a task force with a diverse set of skills, like:
- financial aid,
- admissions,
- outreach,
- fundraising,
- media and communications
Collecting and submitting required evaluations to statewide coordinator*
Implementing marketing & outreach strategies that maximize attendance and encourage participation from at-risk populations
Identify and engage potential sponsors (as needed for your event)
