Things You'll Need for the Workshops

These trainings will be offered via Webex, a program used to conduct live meetings, trainings, and presentations over the Internet. To participate in the workshops you will need a computer with high speed internet, a telephone and an interest in learning. If you're having trouble finding access to a computer let us know, and we'll do our best to help you get access. Once you register you will be sent an invitation (including a password and link) to participate in Webex.

You've filled out the FAFSA, now it's time to make the next step in your transition to college. This workshop series will provide you with information about winning scholarships, student aid reports, borrower loan options and money management skills. Students, parents and professionals are encouraged to attend and participate in these workshops.

Attend this workshop to learn information on searching for scholarships and tips on writing a winning scholarship essay.

FAFSA Corrections and Your Student Aid Report (SAR)

Have a lot of corrections to make on your FAFSA? Confused about your Student Aid Report? This workshop will help you understand your SAR and the corrections you need to make in funding your education.

Knowing Your Rights: Student Loan Borrower Options

This workshop will help you understand the complexities of taking out loans to pay for your college education. This is a crucial workshop for anyone who has been offered loans as part of their student aid package.

Financial Education: How to stretch your student aid dollars

Learning how to budget your student aid will be crucial to your personal and academic success in college. Attend this workshop to learn tips on stretching your student aid dollars.
